There is a beautiful slokam that comes while chanting Sri Vishnu Sahasranamam.
chāyāyāṃ pārijātasya hemasiṃhāsanopari
āsīnamaṃ budhaśyāmam-āyatākṣam-alaṅkṛtaṃ |
candrānanaṃ caturbāhum śrivatsāṅkita-vakṣasam
rukmiṇi-satyabhāmābhyaṃ sahitaṃ kṛṣṇam-āśraye ||
āśrye - I take shelter
Under whom? Let us find out,
pārijātasya chāyāyāṃ - In the shade of pārijāta tree,
hemasiṃhāsanopari - on top of a golden throne
āsīnamam - seated
Who is seated on top of a golden throne under the shade of a pārijāta tree?
budhaśyāmam - He is dark in color like the clouds
āyatākṣam - He is has big eyes like blossomed lotuses
alaṅkṛtam - He is beautifully decorated
rukmiṇi-satyabhāmābhyāṃ sahitam - He is joined by Rukmini and Satyabhama
Who? Who?
kṛṣṇam! - Krishna!
The sweetheart of Rukmini and Satyabhama is seated well decorated on a golden throne under the shade of a pārijāta tree. He is dark like the clouds and has large beautiful eyes.
Rukmini and Satyabhama are just looking at Him and drinking His sweetness. He is relishing their companionship.
The storm of saṃsāra is raging. Come quickly, let us take shelter under Krishna.
